Over the last 20 years, I have worked across the cruise industry alongside cruise lines, ports, destinations, industry suppliers, events and trade associations.
Today, my work focuses on strategy, destination development and industry engagement, with clients ranging from established destinations to emerging ports and luxury small-ship operators.
I currently serve as Seatrade’s Expedition Cruise Ambassador and regularly moderate senior-level industry discussions, contribute to conference content and write on destination and small-ship industry trends.
Having lived in Iceland for almost 30 years, with experience as a qualified Icelandic tour guide and former manager of a multi-award-winning shore excursions department, I also provide local insight and support for itinerary scouting, destination development and new itinerary planning projects. As an example, one scouting trip resulted in several new landing sites and lesser-visited ports being introduced into Iceland itineraries in 2025.
Alongside strategic advisory work, I support clients with industry positioning, stakeholder engagement, conference moderation and content creation. Many clients also draw upon my long-established industry network and ability to connect destinations, ports and cruise lines in meaningful and commercially practical ways.
I regularly attend Seatrade Cruise Global, Seatrade Europe and Seatrade Cruise Med, alongside other leading industry events, and am always happy to discuss potential collaborations, projects or industry opportunities.
